Acre is working in partnership with one of the UK's leading sustainability services providers. The organisation has quickly risen to be one of the UK's leading boutique sustainability firms, resulting in the immediate requirement for a brand-new consultant/senior consultant with experience with GHG verification and assurance services to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a consultant who is eager to make an impact in a rapidly growing sector. You will work with a range of national and international clients to deliver net zero strategies and enable zero carbon futures.

Responsibilities:

​

  • Good working knowledge of legislative reporting frameworks such as SECR, mandatory GHG reporting and the EU ETS

  • Leading strategic projects with clients to verify and assure their annual GHG assertions, ESG reports and wider sustainability performance

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to lead workshops with business leaders

  • Programme management of client delivery with a focus on quality and timeliness

You will be a senior member of the consulting team, leading work with our major clients in various sectors. You will be a specialist in GHG Verification and assurance services and will lead the development of our services in this area.

Experience:

  • 5 years+ relevant experience in GHG verification and assurance services.

  • Consultancy experience with proven team leadership capabilities.

  • Strong auditing skills supported by recognised training and qualifications, such as Lead Auditor training.

  • Preparing clear outcome focused verification reports, presentations and papers.

  • Working knowledge relating to governance structures and risk reporting and management
