Group ESG Director - Real estate

Acre is proud to partner with a leading real estate investor, who specalised in logistics & distribution, to appoint a Group Director of ESG. This is a newly created position which will allow the successful candidate to stategise, implement, and deliver a market leading sustainability and ESG programme.

The Group ESG Director will be responsible for delivering ESG strategies across the business multiple funds using third party consultants to aid with day to day activities.

Examples of responsibilities:

• reporting and presenting to non-executive Boards and external investors on the Group's ESG strategy.

• Lead the drafting of the annual Sustainability Report sections of the Funds' Annual Reports and submissions to industry benchmarks (e.g. GRESB/EPRA) with a view to optimising and improving those scores

• Be informed and up-to-date on best practice developments in industry, locally and globally; brief management and colleagues on trends and key messages (e.g. via CPD sessions) and be the subject matter expert internally
