Hilton Food Group (HFG) works with some of the world's leading retailers and food businesses to produce a broad range of animal and plant-based protein products, in a world of ever-changing consumer preferences. In positioning itself as the leading international food-packing business, the key to HFG's success has been based on partnership and responsibility: HFG operates across 13 markets, working with a small number of industry-leading customers on an exclusive basis, producing innovative, high-quality products which are created in a responsible and sustainable manner.

To continue Hilton's push for sustainability, the company created a group corporate Responsibility function. The team has identified eight pillars, covering all sustainability topics, and have had significant achievements across a range of areas, including audit, transparency and animal welfare. You will be joining the business to lead the company's Ethical Supply Chain pillar, building the company's Ethical code of conduct and risk assessment processes, assessing suppliers and working to ensure the company continues to be at the forefront of sustainability. Consumers are expecting higher ethical standards for their food, and you will be a key point of contact with Hilton's customers, to ensure that standards are being exceeded.

You will possess:

  • Strong knowledge of sustainability topics, ideally within the food industry

  • Strong engagement skills, with the ability to drive the conversation around ethics with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong conceptual thinker, with the ability to develop and adapt processes on a global level

  • The drive to continue to develop and learn new areas of sustainability beyond ethics

In joining Hilton Food Group, you will be continuing your career with a company which has embedded sustainability at the heart of its operations. With a supportive leadership team, strong recognition of the company's sustainability programme and the opportunity to develop further, this is an excellent opportunity to make an impact with an ambitious team. Please apply or contact Tom Townsend on if you would like to discuss further.
