We are supporting a luxury goods client, who as well as having some of the most ambitious science-based climate targets in the sustainability world, are embarking on a journey to developing an integrated social commitment agenda. The newly created Global Senior Manager, Social Commitment vacancy will be integral to delivering this; devising and promoting a new company philanthropic approach, and developing impactful projects which empower employees, communities within which the business operates.

In conscious and active collaboration with a wide range of influential stakeholders within the business, you will also:

  • Manage and coordinate the social commitment approach and develop the framework and reporting metrics to measure societal impact

  • Develop the Company Participative Philanthropic Approach

  • Build and manage local communities working on social commitment topics coming from a variety of background across the business

  • Launch and implement global projects, partnerships and events to support the awareness of colleagues around Human Rights, Societal Issues, UN Goals and social ecosystems

  • Develop strategic external stakeholder relationships; with NGOs, social entrepreneurs and charities to ensure inspirational practices

To deliver the required impact in this role you will:

  • Thrive off building strong relationships in a complex stakeholder environment

  • Have a collaborative, multicultural approach to work transversally and globally

  • Enjoy the fast-paced nature of managing and delivering multiple projects, with measured results

  • Demonstrate strong professional exposure to D&I, Human Rights, NGOs and societal issues
