Acre have partnered with a leading sustainability and climate change organisation, to source a brand-new strategic Head of Marketing in a B2B focused role.
The company, having completed a new funding round now have substantial financial backing and are looking to grow their strategic marketing function. They support their clients with their climate commitments, helping to drive for a lower carbon economy and improve their social impact.
Reporting the Marketing Director, you will support the strategic direction of the organisation and be responsible for shaping and developing the go-to marketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
Developing the organisations Brand presence to maintain their market-leading reputation as a thought leader in the space
Executing innovative marketing and PR campaigns that are in line with the organisation's core purpose and values
Imputing strategic advice to help drive the organisation's ambitious growth plans
Supporting the organisation's clients to effectively communicate their carbon reduction programmes to stakeholders and their consumers
Engaging and managing expert sustainability communication agencies to support delivery
As the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for inspiring and driving key audiences to take action on climate change, whilst also positioning the firm as the market-leading organisation for governments and large corporates to work with and take responsibility for their climate and social impacts.
Skills:
Extensive experience in marketing, ideally within the sustainability and environmental sector
Passion for tackling climate change and improving social sustainability
Strong track record of supporting the business development team in a complex B2B environment
Be a self-starter, taking responsibility for your deliverables with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment and manage multiple projects
