In this brand-new role, you will define, develop and deliver Datatec's responsible business strategy globally. You will be a key partner to the organisation, enabling and empowering the international businesses to leverage technology as a force for positive change. Datatec is an international ICT (Information Communications Technology) solutions and services group. Datatec provides leadership and sets the direction and strategy for four business within the group and through their decentralised operating model, extensive geographic footprint, positioning across the ICT value chain and strong vendor and customer relationships, this role will enable the platform to create extensive education and community impact.
Responsibilities:
The Head of Responsible Business will partner with key stakeholders from the operations, across each region, to create and manage the relevant frameworks and policies that enable and empower the teams to execute their own programmes and activities across their business, aligned to Datatec's group aspirations.
The role will include shaping and collating the group's commitment to the future and making technology accessible through dedicated education programmes. Through the Responsible Business Working Group, you will develop, engage and integrate a framework to engage 'hearts and minds' of the entire global workforce, through training programmes and innovative internal engagement initiatives.
Experience:
You will have a proven track record of leading responsible business programmes that have had a tangible impact across business, ideally with education in the community being an area of expertise. Excellent communication, influencing and reporting skills, particularly at an executive level a must; with proven experience of working with different cultures across the world.
