Acre is delighted to be supporting an international trade association in the precious metals space in their search for a Head of Responsible Sourcing.

Reporting directly into the Chief Executive, you will lead and develop the organisation's responsible sourcing programme, as well as continually monitor compliance and regulatory requirements working closely with refiners, auditors, NGOs and miners.

Based in the heart of London, the association has strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the precious metals value chain, and presents a fantastic opportunity to build a strong and long lasting network in the space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing the association's responsible sourcing programme, in close association with precious metal refiners and traders

  • Handling due diligence processes for members and associates, including both onboarding and routine checks

  • Drafting responses to regulators and other relevant written materials for the assurance process and programmes

  • Representing the organization at in various sourcing-related fora, for example at industry events and forums

  • Supporting the General Counsel and external senior stakeholders at committee meetings

Liaising directly with market regulators and other official bodies, the Head of Responsible Sourcing will work closely with the Chief Technical Officer to strengthen the association's position across all sustainability issues and challenges.

You will have:

  • Significant experience of responsible sourcing and supply chain due diligence, with knowledge of the audit/industrial audit process

  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and experience of reporting into c-suite or equivalent

  • Strong and accurate business and copy writing skills, paired with a keen attention to detail

  • Education to a minimum of a degree level in a relevant subject

  • Ability to work proactively and independently while ensuring excellent communication with the wider organisation and key stakeholders
