We are working with a leading independent fundraising advisor to the private markets. Institutional investors around the globe trust them to seek out and bring them the market's most compelling investment opportunities.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with a proven track record of capital-raising within the private equity/financial sector to join their Impact business line.

This is an opportunity to help build the world's leading sustainability and impact platform, leveraging strong LP and GP networks, and delivering meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking a key role in the execution of fundraisers and other GP-led interactions from start to finish

  • Leading/supporting on the strategic aspects of deals and managing any challenges and issues

  • Inputting into strategic direction and evolution of the Impact franchise

  • Primary responsibility for a select number of key LP accounts

  • Working with Impact GPs to work out what their USP is and how to sell them.

  • Developing market intelligence to inform the advice provided to clients as well as mandate origination and GP selection

  • Driving material preparation efforts and executing fundraising process management, oversight of material prepared by junior members of the team

  • Oversight/input into impact operations (market materials, thought pieces, etc.)

  • Significant senior client interaction during the course of fundraising

  • Establishing target investors, conducting initial meetings, advancing the conversation, positioning the firm/product/strategy, and closing.

Key Requirements:

  • Track record of demonstrable capital raising success working within private equity, private capital fundraising, investment banking M&A or corporate finance & advisory sectors

  • An experienced individual that can lead the impact investing business line, hit the ground running with project management and help to craft the equity story.

  • Meaningful exposure to private equity

  • Experience managing junior employees

  • Strong interest in impact and sustainability, with the motivation to develop a personal brand within the industry

  • High emotional intelligence, with an ability to strike the balance between assertion and listening/reflection

  • Solid understanding of corporate finance (balance sheets, P&Ls, capital structures, etc)

The successful candidate will fulfil an experienced, hybrid role incorporating advisory and coverage responsibilities, leading on client relationship management and fundraisers, providing strategic input as part of the senior team for the impact investing business line.
