We are pleased to be partnering with Tickr to aid them in their search for an Impact Specialist.

Tickr is an impact investment app for first-time investors. It provides a platform for consumers to invest in ways which generate a positive social/environmental impact, whilst also producing solid financial returns.

Launched in 2019, the investment arm of the business is the company's primary offering, however, the firm has plans to grow the business further, providing additional services for consumers looking to generate a positive impact for both themselves and the planet.

Tickr has a highly engaged existing customer base and is helping to forge a new, sustainable market. The firm has ambitious growth plans and this Impact Specialist hire is a key appointment for them.

Reporting directly into one of the co-founders of the business, the core role responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and quantifying the impact being generated by the firm's current holdings (listed companies), using standardised impact reporting frameworks where possible.

  • Putting in place a framework to ensure that these assessments are rigorous, repeatable and data informed.

  • Using impact data to provide a narrative to Tickr's customers about the positive changes being brought about by their investments.

The firm has been approved to launch their own regulated funds in the European market. As such, the firm is looking to apply the methodology developed from analysing their own holdings to build a fund creation tool. Tickr aims to pioneer how impact funds are created in listed markets, creating the highest quality (in terms of impact) impact funds in the world.

The firm is seeking someone with the following:

  • A demonstrated interest in impact investing, either through work experience or academic study (ideally both)

  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to synthesise and summarise quantitative and qualitative data

  • A positive and resilient outlook and someone who is up for the challenge of working for a startup

  • Ambition - Tickr are not building a lifestyle business for the founders, they are seeking to change the face of an industry and expand internationally at rapid speed

  • An ability to work independently

  • A good understanding of the listed equity market impact stock universe

In return, they offer:

  • Competitive salary

  • Equity in the company after 6 months

  • Additional benefits (pension, 25 days of holiday + bank holidays)

  • The chance to get in early at a startup aiming to change the face of financial services, shaping the way the industry reports and thinks about impact
