Do you want to work for a property developer that is committed to playing an active part in addressing the issues of climate change? Our client is a London-based property developer and asset manager, who have developed, created, and re-invented some of the most recognisable buildings in London.

In this interim role, you will report to the Head of ESG and join a growing and dynamic team and support the implementation of their ESG strategy across their portfolio of iconic retail, leisure, and residential assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee environmental and social data from activities such as developments, asset management & corporate.

  • Assist project leads in keeping ESG Reporting tools up to date for developments.

  • Support quarterly, annual reporting, and annual ESG data assurance.

  • Upkeep of development tracker and assets under management ESG summaries.

  • Contribute to writing the ESG Annual Report based on insights derived from processing data reporting.

  • Support with responses to external auditing of non-financial data reporting.

  • GRESB reporting, Planet Mark reporting (scope 1+2), WGBC Race to Zero reporting and B Corp reporting.

  • Working alongside project support/monitoring roles to ensure smooth implementation with internal and external teams.

Desired:

  • Experience in real estate design and the construction sector.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and engage with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excel proficiency and data processing capabilities.

  • Understanding of scopes 1, 2 and 3 for real estate.

  • Technical understanding of key environmental reporting metrics for real estate.

  • Communication skills to translate technical insights derived from data analysis into non-technical engaging language.

  • Experience in reporting platform requirements (GRESB, World GBC, Planet Mark, B Corp).

This is a maternity cover contract, ideally starting in February and ongoing until September. My client is ideally looking for someone part-time 3-4 days per week for the duration. Central London office location, coming into the office once per week minimum. The day rate is £400.
