Are you an ESG risk/supply chain professional with an interest in leading strategy across a global consultancy?

One of the world's largest strategy consultancies is looking for an experienced ESG Supply Risk Consultant to assist and manage the initial set-up of the Global ESG Supply Risk Management Programme. This is a great opportunity for you to work with a high-profile company, and you will be expected to be the professional lead in both phases of this strategy across the whole organisation on a global scale.

This is an interim opportunity, up to 9 months and can be completed with a hybrid working pattern with occasional travel to the London office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, assessing and implementing an end-to-end approach to assessing ESG risks in the supply chain

  • Testing of the global approach to assessing ESG in the supply chain as a pilot in Germany and the UK

  • Development and improvement of policies, processes and communication to establish the programme

  • Onboarding and implementation of new technology solutions required to assess ESG risk assessment

  • Managing and providing guidance to junior analysts or support resources and monitor output

  • Chair steer-co meetings with senior leadership and circulate required project materials

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Experience in designing and implementing operational or third-party risk management policies

  • Previous work in ESG/sustainability supply chain transformation

  • Understanding of ESG regulatory environment impacting global supply chains

  • Knowledge of the flow of goods and services through procurement, vendor or third-party management life cycle
