Are you an ESG risk/supply chain professional with an interest in leading strategy across a global consultancy?
One of the world's largest strategy consultancies is looking for an experienced ESG Supply Risk Consultant to assist and manage the initial set-up of the Global ESG Supply Risk Management Programme. This is a great opportunity for you to work with a high-profile company, and you will be expected to be the professional lead in both phases of this strategy across the whole organisation on a global scale.
This is an interim opportunity, up to 9 months and can be completed with a hybrid working pattern with occasional travel to the London office.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, assessing and implementing an end-to-end approach to assessing ESG risks in the supply chain
Testing of the global approach to assessing ESG in the supply chain as a pilot in Germany and the UK
Development and improvement of policies, processes and communication to establish the programme
Onboarding and implementation of new technology solutions required to assess ESG risk assessment
Managing and providing guidance to junior analysts or support resources and monitor output
Chair steer-co meetings with senior leadership and circulate required project materials
What are we looking for in a candidate?
Experience in designing and implementing operational or third-party risk management policies
Previous work in ESG/sustainability supply chain transformation
Understanding of ESG regulatory environment impacting global supply chains
Knowledge of the flow of goods and services through procurement, vendor or third-party management life cycle
