Investment Analyst

We are working with a growth stage impact private equity firm to hire an Investment Associate to join its team in Amsterdam. The organisation has over EUR400m AuM focused on a range of sustainable and impact themes across food and agriculture, the circular economy and sustainable livelihoods within Europe.

Following the close of its second fund, the team are now looking to make an additional hire. This is a fantastic chance to join a small team of 15 investment and operating professionals. The structure is flat, allowing an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the growing investment programme with a key focus on the research and origination of deals

• Support on the due diligence, including commercial, technical and financial aspects

• Assisting on the ESG & impact due diligence

• Support on reporting as part of its impact management framework

Experience Sought:

• Venture Capital or Private Equity investment making experience, including deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and deal structuring.

• Scientific or relevant technical background is highly desirable across relevant sector themes, e.g. biotech

• Prior experience working in responsible and impact investment is desirable; where lacking, a strong understanding of and passion for impact investment across the fund's thematic focus is required

• Holding or working towards relevant professional qualifications, e.g. CFA charter and other relevant qualifications

• English speaker. Additional languages are highly desirable
