We are working with a family office to find a new Investment Associate to join their team. In an organisation where values are at the core of its mission and approach, the investment team is seeking a new member to work both within its impact program and the wider multi-asset portfolio which includes, public markets, private market funds, direct investments and impact-led investments.

The family office is made up of approx. 20 individuals based between London and the Cotswolds. As part of a small team, the successful candidate will not only need to meet the selection criteria but have a profound alignment with the FO's values, ethos and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the growing impact investment programme with a key focus on the research, origination, execution, portfolio management and monitoring

  • Working with the investment team; undertake own analysis to inform and maintain an up-to-date assessment of ESG alignment of all holdings across the portfolio, including public and private equity, fixed income, real estate and impact-first assets. This will include company analysis and ESG reporting on a quarterly basis

  • Ad hoc support to the portfolio companies as required. This may involve helping to formulate business plans or strategic initiatives with a particular focus on sustainability.

Experience Sought:

  • Experience in finance, accountancy, consultancy or a start-up. Experience in investing in private markets is desirable

  • Prior experience working in responsible and impact investment is desirable; where lacking, a strong understanding of and passion for responsible and impact investment is required

  • Eligible to work in the UK

  • Holding or working towards relevant professional qualifications e.g. CFA charter, ACA and other qualifications
