Investment Specialist - Environmental Strategies

We are working with a leading European asset manager in their search for an Investment Specialist to support a team of experienced portfolio managers who are running global long-only and long-short sustainable equity strategies.

The primary purpose of the role is the communication and commercialisation of the team's products based on detailed technical, market and client knowledge. A key aspect of this role will be in the preparation of written material regarding the relevant strategies - marketing presentations and regular reports to sales and to investors.

​

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver communications around the fund's investment philosophy and capabilities both internally and externally.

• Support innovation, product development and range management, by contributing to the design of customised client solutions and suggesting product changes to meet future client demands.

• Represent the team and capabilities to internal and external audiences.

• Provide operational support by helping to manage non-investment processes with groups such as Compliance and Operations as required by the team.

Requirements for this position:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in either a numerate or marketing discipline is desirable.

• 3-5 years' relevant experience.

• Commercial and entrepreneurial attitude, good (personal) presentation skills.

• Ability to manage projects and getting things done.

• Fluent spoken and written English essential, spoken Chinese or Japanese preferred.
