As a result of significant growth at Acre, we are seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team in the United Kingdom, based in London. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours). Given Covid-19 restrictions, all employees are currently working from home. We will consider applicants who are looking for remote working opportunities but who are willing and able to travel into London as necessary.
We currently have a three-person finance team, with a breadth of knowledge and expertise. This role will have a material impact on the evolution of the wider business and the quality of Acre's service offering.
In this role, you'll work with our Finance Director to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company. You will also support in the continued development and management of our Finance Team.
What can you expect to do in this role?
Month End
Reporting and transactions as well as business partnering across the organisation, including all three regions.
Management & Development
Manage and mentor our apprentice level 3 AAT finance assistant
Offer development support and assistance to our level 3 AAT sales ledger controller
Deputise the work of the Financial Director within the Finance Team
Process, Policy, & Procedures
Assist with documenting, maintaining, and disseminating Acre financial processes, policies and procedures
Assist Finance Director with ad-hoc projects
What skills will you need?
Detail Oriented - You will need to have a strong attention to detail working in a small finance team in a fast-paced environment.
Determined - You will have a strong sense of purpose and a strong resolve to overcome obstacles and challenges until the job is done!
A Good Communicator - You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Incorporating the use of IT, to ensure that communications are efficient and effective.
Technical Skills & Qualifications - Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, intermediate/advanced Excel skills and hands on experience producing all aspects of management accounts process.
