Ball Packaging, the global leading manufacturer of aluminium packaging solutions, is hiring a Renewable Energy Procurement Manager, reporting to the Director of EMEA Energy Procurement. You will help lead Ball's procurement decisions for renewable energy sources, facilitating its manufacturing plants worldwide as they create fully circular packaging solutions.

You'll spend your time:

  • Leading renewable energy solutions for Ball across all forms of procurement (onsite, nearsite, offsite) with the support of an energy procurement analyst

  • Evaluating the market for all types of Agreements, Suppliers, Products and Developers for renewable energy solutions

  • Creating and leading project teams from across the business to support the implementation of Renewable Energy Agreements

  • Preparing and leading Renewable Energy tenders on behalf of Ball

  • Leading the financial analysis/modelling and business case justification to support project opportunities

You will bring:

  • Experience with renewable energy transactions experience with energy suppliers and renewable energy developers

  • Experience negotiating and managing Power Purchase Agreements (vPPA, cPPAs, PPAs)

  • A familiarity with energy markets and the policy and regulatory landscape affecting renewable energy deal activity across the EMEA region

  • Knowledge of financial evaluation models, economics, and risks associated with Renewable Energy transactions

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver in a cross-functional, matrix environment
