So, what about you - what are your ambitions?
Right now, we're experiencing incredible levels of growth. As you'd expect in these circumstances, the volume of roles we're working on is growing exponentially.
To capitalise on this opportunity, we have successfully established two regional offices beyond our original London home over the past three years - in New York, and Amsterdam - both of which are thriving. Our ambition now takes us to the Asia Pacific region.
To help us deliver, we're hiring a Managing Director to lead our expansion into this region.
If you have led a recruitment business or a large team within one, and have experience in Asia-Pacific, we would like to talk to you.
Experience in a start-up phase of business will also be advantageous - this will be a new regional hub for Acre (our fourth), but we will scale quickly so you will have to deploy a range of skills and be highly adaptable.
Experience from many other recruitment sectors can map across well - Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing and Energy to name a few. But your sectoral background is less important than your passion for sustainable impact - your default approach will be to create a values-driven culture which focusses on providing maximum value to clients.
In terms of your role, your responsibilities will include:
Spearheading the development and growth of the Asia-Pacific region: You'll execute an expansion strategy that minimises the complexities of operating across different businesses, geographies and cultures. You'll be an ambassador of our core values - courage, collaboration, integrity and innovation - you'll embody them at every opportunity.
Joining Acre's Global Board of Directors: You'll lead on and participate in company-wide strategic projects that impact Acre's wider growth. You'll establish an approach that leverages Acre's wider business model, but that is finely tuned to the needs of the Asia-Pacific region.
Developing & delivering a robust regional strategy: You'll create a compelling vision and ambitious strategy for your region in partnership with your senior team. You'll take ultimate accountability for the execution and delivery of this strategy.
Creating and owning a comprehensive annual budget: You'll work closely with Acre's Finance Director and your senior team to develop an annual budget that outlines clear revenue and headcount targets against which you will deliver.
Building a regional brand that delivers impact: You'll partner with Acre's Head of Marketing to ensure your region deploys a best-in-class marketing approach to build a strong commercial and employer brand.
Leading a high performing team: With the support of Acre's Performance Team, you'll lead and develop those in your region to support business growth. You'll serve as a trusted thinking partner and mentor and will work closely with your senior team to drive continuous improvement.
Influencing the strategic direction of the wider Acre group: You'll provide an objective and strategic view of the wider Acre operations, providing critical insight into how Acre meets its ambitious growth plans whilst also delivering against a triple bottom line, serving people, planet and commercial success
Developing internal strategic partnerships: You'll work closely with your peers in other regions and within Acre's central function to share best practice, learnings and to challenge all areas of the business with the intention of enabling growth.
