Why are you here?

Hopefully, it's because you're already a Marketing Manager elsewhere and you're ready for a new opportunity - perhaps somewhere with a purpose, operating in an interesting sector. You have experience marketing a learning and development business, or perhaps marketing a fast-growing start-up, and Acre Frameworks has caught your eye.

If you're nodding along, it sounds like you're in the right place. We'll tell you why we're here.

Acre is experiencing incredible levels of growth - and Acre Frameworks, our global learning and development business operating in the sustainability, safety and climate change sectors, has never been busier. As Acre Frameworks grows, we're ready for our first Marketing Manager to step in full time who can provide a dedicated resource to the team, grow the brand and deliver an excellent marketing strategy.

Acre's group of brands, including Acre Frameworks, have just had a refresh - which will mean that you're walking into a solid foundation and will have a shiny new brand platform ready to take to market and push out to the world!

If that sounds like an interesting proposition, we'll tell you more about it.

Acre Frameworks provides purpose-driven professionals with unique coaching and training programmes, equipping them with the non-technical skills they need to create change and drive impact within their businesses.

Acre is headquartered in London, with Amsterdam and New York offices, but offers plenty of flexibility to work from home. We can be flexible about that in the long term too, if that's your preference. We're open to where you're based, so long as you could get into London when you need to. We're also happy to accommodate the routine you need. This role could possibly be part-time, and flexible hours are an option - we're just looking for the right person.

In terms of the day to day:

Your role will initially be to treat Acre Frameworks as a new, fast-growing start-up. We have lots of momentum and ideas, and our products are selling well - but we're looking to start from scratch where marketing is concerned.

The Acre Group has a great client base, and a key focus of this role will be to ensure that our existing customers, who work with our other products, know about Acre Frameworks and what we do.

You'll have a brand to work with - but in terms of activity and a plan, think of it as a blank canvas. You'll be:

  • Creating a strategy in partnership with your key stakeholders - Your team are small but mighty, and have plenty of ideas of how to get Acre Frameworks in front of the market. We have ideas about events, podcasts, how we pitch and advertising - but need support & guidance.

  • Delivering the strategy you create - You'll have the skills you need to be hands-on in all areas of your projects; whether that's on social media, designing documents in Indesign, or organising an event or a webinar. You will have a budget to work with, and other team members to lean on, but ultimately you will be accountable for getting things done.

  • Working alongside Acre's marketing team - The Director of Marketing will be on hand to support you day-to-day, and you'll have colleagues working in content, design & SEO in other departments to bounce ideas around with.

We are open to the background or experience that you might have, as long as you can offer the following competencies:

  • Experience in setting a marketing strategy, and delivering it yourself.

  • An eye for design, detail & high standards when it comes to your work. Experience with the Adobe suite would be preferable.

  • A commercial mind that understands the goals of your business & your peers, and how you help them to achieve them.

  • A good understanding of digital programs & the ability to pick new technologies up quickly.

  • You will be able to facilitate a project from concept to completion. This will mean being organised, able to multi-task and follow a plan, and good at sticking to timelines.

  • You'll be able to juggle a fluctuating workflow, whilst delivering all of your work to the highest standards. Projects can be a little like London buses - they're prone to all coming in at once! There will be plenty to do in the downtime, but you will need to be able to manage your time during busy spells.

That said, we think this position would suit someone who:

  • Has experience working in a start-up environment, working with products and brands that are constantly evolving.

  • Has had experience working with learning & development products.

We're ready to hire for this position as soon as we find the right person. In fact, our team can't wait for you to start!
