One of the leading global banks is seeking a Managing Director and Head of Climate Risk Advisory. This role will sit in the front office and will work closely with the Global Head of ESG Risk to offer best-in-class climate risk management advisory to clients across the bank's various businesses.
You will be responsible for:
Leading climate risk analysis and advising clients on managing their climate risks
Developing the bank's transition finance strategy in line with the group commitments
Work with the business teams to accelerate NetZero Journey for clients using the bank's product and service offerings
Work closely with the central risk team and feed into the central climate stress testing and regulatory consultations
Act as the central point for all Climate and Net Zero Portfolio related client queries across the bank
Creating a centre of excellence for building in-house expertise on climate change
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Significant experience in sustainability and climate risk advisory in banking
Experience in analysing industry and corporate drivers, which can support transition considerations for industries
Ability to interpret and synthesise climate research and developments into meaningful and tangible actions
Ability to work in matrix teams and influence senior stakeholders to drive change
