As a Consultant, you will work on internal and external engagements alongside ENGIE Impact's Sustainability Solutions team of professionals. Your sustainability projects may cover a variety of topics across mobility, energy planning, carbon markets, and green fuels as well as sustainable and resilient value chains.

ENGIE Impact is looking for a strategy consultant coming from a top-tier management consultancy with experience in sustainability, ESG, or Net-Zero planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare high-quality client-facing materials and deliverables (PowerPoint presentations, reports, summary documents, proposals)

  • Plan and prepare impactful stakeholder meetings

  • Conduct research with external resources on specific industry trends, markets, technologies, or policies

  • Structure and lead expert analysis of data to develop unique insights

  • Develop and improve leave-behind analytical models, covering technical, economic, and environmental evaluations

  • Demonstrate sector knowledge and mastery of client decarbonization challenges and needs

  • Frequent collaboration and receive mentoring/coaching from senior leadership team

Reporting to the Sustainability Solutions team's leadership, this role will focus on providing support to clients in multiple industry sectors such as private and public Healthcare, Technology, Industrials, Manufacturing, and Asset Management, who are working to accelerate their transition to zero carbon in their operations through innovative solutions in carbon reduction, mobility, energy, water, waste and more.

You will have the opportunity to work on strategies through to implementation to embed sustainability throughout Fortune 500 businesses.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in management consulting with a top-tier/big four consultancy

  • Strategy consultant (slide and report writing; issue-based problem solving; structured thinking and communication; translating data to insights; collaborative teaming and facilitation; competitive strategy and financial analysis)

  • 2-10 years of work experience

  • Previous client-facing project delivery experience with a competitive management consulting firm

  • Experience in change management, including the design and facilitation of high-impact meetings with diverse sets of stakeholders

  • Demonstrated passion for decarbonization, clean energy, and sustainability-related subjects (sustainability experience desired, but not required)

  • Superb data analysis and modeling skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Experience in advanced analytics commercial software such as Matlab, Microsoft VBA, and Tableau
