We are currently supporting a global environmental consultancy on a search for a leader with expertise in permitting and environmental, social impact assessments (ESIA) disciplines. The business' Partner of ESIA will join a well-established leadership team that is focused on supporting clients in the effective delivery of large infrastructure projects throughout Germany with some international collaboration across the global business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute the annual business plan for team, drive sales, P&L and cash flow for services.

  • Create a sales pipeline with potential for year on year sustainable bottom line growth

  • Build meaningful client relationships and understand their medium and long-term goals in order to be a trusted partner and assist them in achieving these goals

  • Create and implement technical strategies to support clients through feasibility and planning stages of capital projects

  • Provide sound advice and guidance to clients through your team of experts in the areas of; environmental, social, health & sustainability impact assessment, social performance strategy; stakeholder / public engagement; GIS, resettlement strategy, project and regulatory permitting/approvals, equator principles and IFC performance standards compliance

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven success in leading teams of consultants and effectively delivering on capital projects

  • Strong business development and relationship building skills backed up by a strong track record

  • Knowledge of climate change risks and opportunities as related to investor expectations, ESG reports and other voluntary commitments

  • A degree in a relevant technical discipline
