Acre is delighted to be working in partnership with Knight Frank to identify their new Partner, Head of Sustainability & ESG Consulting UK. Knight Frank is the leading independent property consultancy globally and offers agency and professional advice across the Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors.

The business is expanding rapidly across all areas of Sustainability/ESG Consulting and Knight Frank are building an industry-leading team with broad expertise and international coverage. You will take a lead role in growing, developing, and managing the sustainability offering for the UK business and beyond.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking overall responsibility and management of current UK sustainability team

  • Defining and delivering on a clear headcount and service offering growth strategy

  • Expand service offerings to work with a wider range of stakeholders and sectors across the UK, EMEA and, in time, globally

  • Represent Knight Frank at external networking events, functions and support in the delivery of thought leadership to the market

  • Generate new business and manage your own pipeline of senior client instructions

Knight Frank advises investors, developers and occupiers of property in the UK and around world on all aspects of sustainability: creating net-zero road maps; developing their sustainability strategies; managing their risks, reporting, design and communications; driving environmental and energy performance improvements; and advising on socio-economic impacts and health & wellbeing.

The successful candidate will be a highly capable and inspirational leader who can effect positive change and commercial outcomes.

You will:

  • Be a leader who understands and values the full range of UK sustainability market offerings, from strategic management consultancy to net zero carbon through to social value and ESG fund creation

  • Be an exceptional manager and have a track record of growing a team with a large headcount responsibility and full P&L ownership

  • Have solid financial & business skillset including ability to set/manage growth budgets, manage investments & resourcing churn/growth of the team

  • Be able to coach, mentor and challenge the existing sustainability team and support in their development and growth
