We are partnering with a disruptive, innovative and impact-orientated private equity firm to identify an Investment Partner/Principal. By combining scale investments and hands-on operational mentorship, this fund develops lower mid-market companies which at their heart deliver a net positive impact on people and planet.
Through the calibre of their existing investment team and advisory board of prominent experts in both the private equity and sustainability fields, our client is well placed to capitalise on growth opportunities through investing in profitable and scalable companies which also deliver benefits for their communities and their environment.
The Partner/Principal Investor will work with a close-knit and collaborative team to deliver a pipeline of potential investments, transaction due diligence, valuation analysis, the negotiating of contracts and ongoing management of value creation and impact delivery at portfolio companies. They will work closely with the advisory board and have extensive interaction with management teams, external advisors, investors and the firms' growing network of mission-driven businesses.
As part of the core team they will also contribute to the development of a purposeful and inclusive investment firm, with all elements of team culture and working practices to be supportive, forward-thinking and aligned to its mission.

Our client hires colleagues who are highly motivated and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have:
A demonstrable investment track record leading on deals with a minimum return of 2x cash-on-cash, over career-to-date
The ability to originate and bring business and talent to the firm
A combination of mainstream PE investment experience and a passion to work with companies that help transition the economy towards a more sustainable future
Warm interpersonal skills with the natural empathy and humility to help build a community of like-minded businesses and managers.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take a senior role in long term development of a private equity firm intent on using capital and expertise to drive environmental and social change across the corporate landscape.
