As the Principal Sustainable Finance Adviser, your responsibilities will include the following:
Leading sustainable finance expert, advising leading financial institutions on aspects of their strategies, operations, products and services
This includes aspects of sustainable finance policies, governance, process frameworks, impact measurement and ensuring businesses are aligned with emerging compliance requirements and global standards
Providing expert knowledge and advice in emerging trends in sustainability such as climate change, carbon accounting, voluntary carbon markets, net zero, transition plans, Science Based Targets, nature-based solutions to the client base
Sitting within the wider Climate and Sustainability team, you will provide specialist consultancy services to clients, predominately in the FS Space, to reach their sustainability goals.
In order to succeed in this role, you will have:
A track record of successful business development and winning work within financial services
Excellent project management and client development/relationship skills at the C-suite level
Knowledge of emerging regulations such as EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and the EU Taxonomy
Previous experience in reporting frameworks, standards and benchmarks, such as TCFD, PRI, ISSB and CDP
