This role encompasses five main key responsibilities:
Program Integration
Oversee seamless integration of ESG principles into acquisition and development processes, collaborating closely with European investment teams.
Support ESG fund strategies to align with evolving regulations, market trends, and investor expectations.
Capital Raising & Investor Relations
Manage ESG inquiries, quarterly reports, presentations, and special requests from European clients, both existing and potential.
Stakeholder Engagement
Supervise external consultants, review their deliverables, and project-manage engagements with internal directors and partners to ensure success.
Reporting
Play a crucial role in meeting regulatory reporting requirements under the European Union's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), including updating fund documents and fulfilling annual reporting obligations.
ESG Data Management
Efficiently handle ESG data and information requests from investors on a quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis, consolidating ESG data and preparing responses.
Required Skills, Background & Personal Attributes:
Ability and motivation to work independently while being an integral part of a wider team
Strong cross-team collaboration skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, a positive and outgoing nature, and the capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders.
A strong background in real estate, preferably from a fund perspective.
Experience in collaborating with various investment and asset management teams, who may not come from a sustainability background.
Success in this role will depend on direct involvement in all aspects of the responsible investment program.
