About the role

As a Product Sustainability Specialist, you will support the Group Sustainability by managing the product footprint calculations and other product-related environmental assessments. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for the maintenance and further development of CFLEX internal tools for environmental evaluations of CFLEX's products.

Responsibilities

  • Managing internal and external product-related sustainability inquiries

  • Conducting life cycle assessments for Constantia Flexibles' products

  • Maintaining the internal tools, models and databases (e.g. on product processes) for life cycle assessments

  • Evaluating raw materials for calculation on Constantia Flexibles indirect emissions

  • Supporting creation of sustainability related presentations and reports

  • Support in group-wide and international working groups for product sustainability

Who are you?

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated experience specifically related to life cycle assessment / product sustainability, preferably in an international environment

  • Experience in a production company will be of high advantage

  • Familiarity with best practices and principles associated with sustainability and environmental conservation

  • Excellent communication competencies, verbal and written including presentation and facilitation

  • Proficiency in English, and knowledge in German would be advantageous

  • Knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel

  • VBA knowledge will be very nice to have

  • You are structured in your way of working with strong analytical skills

  • Quality driven, hands-on personality, and a team player

  • You display a proactive personality with demonstrated passion for Sustainability

  • Able to travel when required
