After years of exploitation, the world's forests are under threat. With an increasing number of organisations committing to net-zero-deforestation and the sustainable use of the world's trees, the FSC is in a unique position to provide the certification and resources to support companies which are making this shift. At Acre, we are delighted to support this essential work through the appointment of a Marketing Programme Manager.

Working with the Chief Marketing Officer, you will have the opportunity to drive real change in the world, through both B2B and B2C channels. At a time of growth and increased opportunity, the organisation's value-proposition is more important than ever; this will provide you with the opportunity to take ownership of it, and define and communicate this for a global audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate activities relating to the development and implementation of FSC's brand positioning

  • Identify, develop, maintain, and disseminate tools to promote professional marketing for use by FSC's Network Partners globally

  • Build strong understanding of market dynamics and innovation, exploring ways of improving existing FSC services, and increasing market share

  • Manage the annual marketing budget effectively

  • Develop strategic marketing plan and annual workplans

  • Build a compelling value proposition for FSC and leverage this in effective marketing and campaign activities; coordinate the development of impactful marketing materials for use in key account campaigns and communications activities

Your background:

  • Ideally educated to a Bachelor's level in a relevant subject (or relevant experience)

  • Strong professional experience in marketing for highly respected organisations, ideally with client facing experience

  • Proven success in developing marketing plans, strategies, budgets and forecasts that support business needs and objectives

  • A broad knowledge of marketing discipline including B2B campaigns, retail and in store promotions, web and social media

  • Business fluency in English. Proficiency in another language would be a welcome addition

This is an opportunity to take a leading role within the marketing team of a high-profile non-profit. If you would like to develop your career with an organisation which can offer you the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world, please apply, or contact Tom.Townsend@acre.com.
