An award-winning civil engineering organisation are hiring a strategic Group Quality Manager. Our client has an impressive portfolio of projects spanning energy, infrastructure, and construction.
They have an established team of project-based Quality Managers and are looking to expand this with the addition of a leader to sit within their central team.
As Group Quality Manager, you will be empowered to implement new initiatives and drive performance across a plethora of major projects. The role would suit someone who is a strategic thinker and has an excellent knowledge of Quality within the construction industry.
Implementing the Group Quality strategy, tracking across internal metrics and ensuring projects are consistent with this standard
Overseeing the internal audit schedule, working closely with the Project Quality Managers
Developing a Quality Culture across the business through training and education
Ensuring that best practice is promoted and successful performance is communicated both internally and externally
Instilling a culture of continuous improvement and project management discipline throughout the organisation
Supporting ISO certification audits as well as other audits/certifications as required
Experience and understanding of quality issues within a construction environment
Internal auditor qualifications for ISO 9001 (14001 and 18001 are desirable)
Excellent analytical skills need for assessing compliance and identifying improvement objectives
Accreditations such as CQI are desirable
