To help us deliver, we're looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant in our Sustainable Business Team in Amsterdam. Someone who may not love business development, but who can source excellent candidates and deliver an exceptional recruitment process.​​

We're a global recruitment business operating in the sustainability and climate change sectors. This explains a little about why we're so busy - everyone is looking to tackle these problems head-on right now, but also need a recruitment partner that's well versed in these markets. Fortunately, we've been doing this a long time - for almost twenty years - so we know what our clients are looking to achieve and the solutions that will get them there.​​​

What will your core responsibilities be in this role?​

• You will engage with clients about their recruitment needs, building relationships to become a trusted advisor while identifying opportunities for the application of Acre's other services

• You will craft proposals and lead client meetings around Acre's services and value proposition, and negotiate commercial arrangements

• You will build your personal brand, organise events within your space and position yourself as a thought leader within your market

• You will develop an understanding of client needs and then engage the candidate marketplace to identify individuals relevant to their requirements

• You will project manage the recruitment process, including interview consultation and offer management

What will we ask of you in return?

• Proven experience in recruitment consultancy with at least one year of experience in sustainability recruitment, and a successful track record of consistent revenue generation

• A degree/MSc level of understanding in urban & regional planning and urbanism

• The ability to build successful relationships at all levels, from CEO to Analyst

• International exposure with experience in the APAC market

• Previous success in a high-performing team and a proven team player with a natural tendency to collaborate

• A consultative approach and the ability to work with clients in the spirit of partnership

• A thirst for knowledge and improvement, with the constant desire to demonstrate drive and work ethic
