Singapore - Asia Pacific - Office Launch 2022
In 2022, Acre will be taking its mission to Asia-Pacific and establishing a formal presence in Singapore. We are interested in speaking with recruitment professionals who are ambitious to apply their commercial expertise to address the mounting challenges of climate change and the broader sustainability agenda.
You may already be in the APAC region, or you may be based elsewhere with a desire to relocate. The most important thing is that you're ambitious to be both commercially successful, and to create an inspiring legacy.
We'll tell you why we're here
We're experiencing incredible levels of growth at Acre and it's happening fast. As you'd expect in these circumstances, our volume of projects is growing exponentially.
To capitalise on this opportunity, we have successfully established two regional offices beyond our original London home - in New York, and Amsterdam both of which are thriving. Our ambition now takes us to the Asia Pacific region.
In the early part of 2022, we will be hiring Recruitment Consultants and Researchers across our core disciplines: Sustainable Finance, Sustainable Business and Sustainable Energy for this region. We are interested to speak to professionals with a range of skills including business development, account management and project delivery - recruiters who can represent our brand professionally in the marketplace, and who can deliver an exceptional recruitment process.
Does this sound like you?
We're a global recruitment and talent development business operating in the sustainability and climate change sectors. I'm sure this explains a little about why we're so busy - the global community is looking to tackle these problems head-on right now, but also need a recruitment partner that's well versed in these markets. Fortunately, we've been doing this a long time - over 18 years to be exact - so we know what our clients are looking to achieve and have developed a range of solutions to get them there.
Your passion to make a dent in issues such as climate change, ocean plastics and human rights is more important to us than your specific industry knowledge. We are interested in experience in a range of functions - from finance to supply chain to marketing and beyond. Your experience may include:
Managing client relationships & serving as a trusted-thinking partner: you'll engage with clients about their recruitment needs, building relationships to become a trusted advisor, whilst identifying opportunities for the application of Acre's other services.
Helping to craft proposals, lead client meetings and negotiate commercial arrangements: you'll master an understanding of Acre's value proposition and use it to secure business from existing clients, as well as new leads in your market.
Supporting the delivery requirements of key hires in your market: you'll capture an accurate understanding of client briefs and deliver them to best effect to win repeat and new business via referrals and feedback.
Engaging exceptional candidates: you'll keep your finger on the pulse in the candidate marketplace at all times, looking for creative and innovative ways to build your network, to identify individuals who are relevant to your clients' search requirements and to engage candidates regularly so that they know to come to you for support in their current role or with finding their next.
Delivering recruitment processes in a way that'll make your clients want to tell their friends about: you'll project manage every aspect of the recruitment cycle - from CV to completion, and everything in between. This includes qualifying candidates for a role, interview consultation, offer management and much more.
What else might interest you about working at Acre?
You'll be working in a supportive, development-driven environment. This means that we'll work with you to form an 'Alliance' whereby we'll let you know what we hope to get from you in your role, but we'll also ask you what we can do to help you develop and progress your career in return.
You'll be encouraged to leverage our successes and learn from our failures. Acre is a well-known name in the markets in which we operate, and you will benefit from an established and professional reputation, a strong candidate network and a wealth of experience from your colleagues.
When it comes to helping tackle some of the world's greatest social and environmental issues, we're a large team of very passionate individuals. With that, we strive to embody our values of:
Collaboration: We trust each other, and we work together because we believe that collectively, we can achieve more.
Innovation: We apply curiosity and creativity to everything we do, learning by asking the right questions to find innovative and forward-thinking solutions for our clients and our business.
Integrity: We hold ourselves to the same high standards we hold society to.
Courage: We embrace the power of vulnerability and transparency. We are brave in our conversations, will challenge directly and are courageous about doing the right thing, not the easy thing.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy doing, you might like to know what skills we'd ask from you in return:
Experience working in a recruitment consultancy, with a successful track record
A proven team player with a natural tendency to collaborate
Motivation to build successful relationships at all levels, from Analyst to CEO
A consultative approach and the ability to work with clients in the spirit of partnership
A thirst for knowledge and improvement, with the constant desire to demonstrate drive and work ethic
Acre is a place where you can prosper and drive meaningful change. Perhaps that's not a place you thought a career in recruitment could take you - but at Acre, that's our purpose.
