Renewable Energy Senior Trade Manager

Our client supports corporate clients, governmental institutions and asset managers to meet their sustainable objectives by advising them on how to invest in local renewable energy projects, energy certificates and compliance products all around Europe.

This is a great pioneering opportunity for a commercial manager with demonstrable experience in the green energy market consultancy or trade.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Acquisition of new relationships with energy suppliers, utilities, and investments firms all around Europe.

  • Management and strengthening of our existing portfolio of players active in the European Green Energy market.

  • Provide the highest level of advice on sustainable energy investment, financing and trade decisions

  • Collaborate on the growth and the development of the Energy Department by coaching and supporting juniors' employees.

  • Closely work with the product analyst department to coordinate, drive, and enhance new transactions.

Based in Amsterdam, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with strategical thinking and credibility to work with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, and have the ability to build strong and long-lasting relationships.

Key Requirements:

  • Master's degree in economics, finance, engineering or business administration.

  • Demonstrable experience in (sales) trading, brokering or account management in the green energy market.

  • Fluent in English and any other European language would be a big plus.

  • Experience in leading a commercial team.

  • Experience in setting and achieving budgets.

  • Strategical thinking and excellent communication skills.

  • A team player mentality and thrive under pressure.
