LDH's vision is to be the best in class Own Brand Grocery supplier. Acting with integrity towards both suppliers and customers, placing strategic partners and colleagues at the heart of everything they do. As a leading own-brand supplier of innovative, sustainable, healthy, high-quality ambient grocery products from around the world, LDH values responsible and sustainable sourcing practices. Now looking to expand their team, Acre is supporting LDH with the search for their new Responsible Sourcing Manager.

In this instrumental role, you will be:

  • The 'go-to' person for ethical sourcing or sustainability-related enquiries from colleagues, customers or suppliers. Through liaising openly with multiple stakeholders, you develop trusting working relationships and are a proactive and collaborative member of the team!

  • Working across three key themes in sustainability: human rights, environment, and marine. Using your expertise on these topics, you contribute to the development and delivery of the company's responsible sourcing strategy, and support suppliers in the implementation of customer requirements and their own policies and projects.

  • Representing the company at any relevant ethical trade or sustainability events and meeting customers when required. You will take the initiative to be a known and trusted person for suppliers to engage with about any issues, or questions on ethical audits or assessments, such as Sedex/SMETA.

With core business values including integrity, respect, and transparency, LDh would be a great environment for you if you are a purpose-driven professional with experience on topics including environmental, ethical, or marine sustainability.

You will also thrive in this team if you have the following:

  • A genuine passion for building relationships and a solutions-orientated mindset. You enjoy working in a collaborative team and use your own initiative when needed.

  • An eye for detail, maintaining a high quality of work, and an interest in emerging trends in sustainability to continue the positioning of LDH as a market leader in the own-brand supplier space.

Does this sound like you? If you are confident you have relevant skills and experience, but are not convinced you 'tick every box', please do still apply, as LDH value upskilling and having an open approach to finding the right person rather than 'the perfect candidate'.

This role offers a flexible working approach with two days per week expected on site in Ipswich, at the LDH headquarters.
