Our client is a highly successful Responsible Investment Fund Management business with over £10bn of assets under management.
The business is moving into a new period of planned growth and the Distribution team is evolving and scaling up in order to support the ambitions of the business.
The firm has operated in Responsible Investing for a long time, but they are now looking to raise their RI profile.
They are looking for an RI Lead Client Relationship Manager/Director to support the Head of Distribution.
Key responsibilities:
The Lead Client Relationship Manager is a trusted advisor for all their clients. They will nurture all client relationships; partnering with clients to help them achieve their long-term goals
Build a relationship to understand why a client uses this company, what they expect, and how this changes over time
Create and agree a plan for each client to ensure they understand the client expectations, enabling the firm to deliver what the client needs
Act as the primary day-to-day external and internal point of contact for all client related matters to ensure highest possible client satisfaction
Working with Client Services and Operations on client onboarding, providing a in best-in-class client experience contributing to a high client retention rate.
Taking ownership of the diverse aspects of the client servicing process through internal co-ordination with various departments, including: Communications, Client Services, Legal, Operations, Investment
Working with clients to work out how committed they are investing in the long term.
Winning new business, onboarding new clients.
Initiate, arrange and host regular investment review and/or ad hoc meetings ensuring the objectives are well understood and communicated internally with the purpose of enhancing the client experience
Utilise the CRM system (Salesforce) to its full potential, ensuring accurate client entries logging activities, client plans, clients at risk and investment team time requests
Keep abreast of competitor activities, industry trends/issues and regulatory developments in the relevant markets
Key requirements:
Experience with institutional clients and consultants preferred
10+ years' experience ideally
A strong knowledge of investment strategies
The ability to communicate performance attribution, portfolio design and structure, asset allocation, and security selection without an investment team member present
The ability to speak intelligently about the capital markets and the impact they may have on client portfolios
Client Management System: Salesforce desirable
Possess a clear understanding of the investment management processes in which their clients invest and are interested
