Rolls Royce Power Systems is in an exciting time of transition as they move towards new sustainable technologies. As they move toward renewables, Rolls Royce Power Systems is looking to bring on experienced Senior Sales Managers who will build networks, enabling the development, sales, and implementation of new projects.

Based in Germany, this person will be responsible for:

  • Working in the Sales Solutions team with a focus on the distribution of decentralized energy systems in the field of hydrogen solutions, fuel cells, and electrolysis in the energy sector.

  • Consulting end customers with regard to technical questions and the cost-based comparison of different solution approaches

  • Evaluate comprehensive, complex technical inquiry specifications and public tender documents up to the technical clarification of the scope of delivery and performance

  • Preparing comprehensive offers including the definition of the solution and the "scope of work" as well as selection of the required products taking into account all requirements of the customer specification

  • Advising customers on technical inquiries and cost-based solution comparisons

  • Analysis of market trends and competitive solutions

To be successful in this role, they will have:

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification

  • At least five years of sales experience in sales, experience in the sale of energy systems is an advantage

  • A confident demeanour, the ability to work in a team, a flexible working style, and a willingness to travel worldwide

  • Good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and experience in dealing with a PDM system

  • Very good written and spoken English
