Acre is delighted to partner with the UK's leading strategic communications consultancy, Lexington Communications, in their search for a Senior Consultant to join their growing Responsible Business Team.
The consultancy works with a roster of blue-chip clients and household brands including Mars, British Land, ITV and Amazon, as well as supporting some of the industry's most influential membership bodies such as CDP. Their Responsible Business Team supports innovative companies making strategic decisions to go beyond compliance and show leadership on a broad range of social issues.
This person will work alongside the Director to develop relationships with existing clients, identify and foster new opportunities and curate unique pieces of work across all aspects of corporate responsibility and sustainability, from narrative and communications, through to programmes and strategy ensuring clients are resilient and fit for the future.
Key Accountabilities:
Managing and developing key client relationships and positioning Lexington as a centre of excellence for strategic support across the corporate responsibility agenda
Delivery of expert consultancy across various projects for clients from a range of industries
Representing the business at various networking events and conferences
Leading pitches and writing proposals to win new business with new and existing clients
Curating and leading project teams, utilising the skillsets of consultants and research consultants
The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of corporate responsibility and sustainability consultancy and have the appetite to build a diverse portfolio of clients and projects.
Experience Required:
Strong written skills and the ability to manage delivery of a wide range of client documents such as policy, thought leadership proposals, narratives, reports and strategy documents
Entrepreneurial outlook is a must, with the ability to generate new business leads and present new ideas on how to improve Lexington's offering
A client facing and professional business manner
Ability to influence both internally and externally on behalf of clients
Expertise to credibly represent the business in networking situations
