Acre is supporting an award-winning consultancy specialising in ethical trade, human rights, labour standards and international development in the search for a Senior Consultant on a 12 month, fixed-term contract.

In this role you, will support a wide range of client work in a variety of sectors worldwide, leading projects, developing products and services, and growing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Executing accurate, objective and high-quality work; making balanced, considered recommendations based on robust evidence coupled with creativity, innovation and practical thinking
Communicating with clients and stakeholders in a professional, objective and clear manner, submitting reports and materials in line with agreed timelines
Proactively and independently lead, manage and grow a number of medium to large clients and supporting the growth of larger accounts
Independently writing clear, concise, proposals to engage potential clients
Conducting standard fieldwork investigartions in the UK and internationally either in-person or remotely
In this role you will have the opportunity to significantly develop ethical trade related skills and specialise in one or more core services: social audits and investigations; remediation programmes; and training and organisational change.
Your Experience:
3-4 years' experience of delivering work across the ethical trade or sustainability sectors
Project management experience, able to work independently and manage complex challenges
Commercially minded, comfortable with business development including proposal writing and client meetings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness and ability to travel to other regions up to 30% of your time
Practical knowledge of ethical trade/responsible sourcing / the social compliance agenda beyond compliance activities
