Schneider Electric is at the forefront of the development and delivery of strategic solutions to address climate action, sustainability consulting, data and resource management, renewable energy procurement and supply chain decolonisation.
Schneider's Energy & Carbon Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant to bring energy and strategy expertise into their German-speaking team. You will take the lead on several high-profile consultancy assignments in the areas of energy strategy and the implementation of renewable energy solutions.
Your key responsibilities of this role are to:
Lead and partner with clients in developing sustainable energy and resource management strategies.
Managing and directing various initiatives such as developing a renewable energy strategy, negotiation and final implementation and similar initiatives related to clean technologies.
Leading team activities related to researching, filtering, warehousing, and communicating new information and trends related to global sustainability and clean technology initiatives.
Conducting assessments and evaluations of clean and renewable technology opportunities, including solicitation of requests for proposals (RFP) and in-depth review of alternative clean technology proposals for client consideration and implementation.
Coach, engage and manage junior team members.
Organise, inform and partner with multi-disciplinary teams within Schneider Electric to help coordinate service and solutions delivery.
Contribute to the development of training resources for both internal and external clients.
Who you are
You have a track record in consulting (5+ years of experience) and are a trusted advisor at board-level.
You have experience in the fields of renewable energy, energy strategy & solutions or closely related.
You have highly developed analytical and conceptual abilities.
You have excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
You are self-driven, honest, curious and highly motivated to succeed.
You are fluent in German (Mandatory) and English.
