Senior Energy Engineer

Acre is pleased to be supporting a leading organisation in Central London, who are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Engineer to join their multi-disciplined Energy & Sustainability team.

This role will play a key role in our client on their exciting journey towards Net Zero Carbon and support and develop a pipeline of market-leading energy projects. Our client currently manages 25% of all property within a square mile and support multiple landmarks across London.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting site visits, analysis and energy surveys to identify energy projects and savings opportunities with a supporting business case

• Providing technical consultancy to major projects teams on energy-efficient and sustainable design

• Presenting a pipeline of energy projects for funding applications

• Developing technical specifications for tendering purposes

• Investigating and validating new technologies and opportunities

This opportunity will give the successful candidate excellent exposure to working on projects within the Private & Public sector, on a multi-billion pound portfolio.

​

Experience:

• At least 5 years' experience in technical energy management in a corporate environment, This could be as an in-house role or consultant

• Sound knowledge of energy reduction technologies and the practical application of first principles engineering

• An energy engineering related qualification or accreditation is highly desirable

• Experience of delivering energy management services and outcomes in a corporate environment

• Skilled in technical analysis, project identification and presentation
