Are you an ethical trade professional who is passionate about working in an impactful global role? Acre is collaborating with a leading fashion, homeware, and cosmetics retailer that is seeking to grow its ethical trade team within its wider sustainability unit of over 100 people.

In this newly created role, you will support and oversee the licensing pillar, and be responsible for relationship management with the buying department and maintaining audit standards across the sustainability programme. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the licensing and direct-to-retail (DTR) licensing pillar through supporting and strengthening relations and keeping up to date with recent audit methodology and audit rating

  • Manage the new factory approval process, which involves onboarding of scheduling audits, managing documents, and approving on schedule

  • Creatively running reports and presenting performance and updates of the audit programme internally

  • Where essential, managing the 3rd part auditor relations and maintaining strong and fluid communications both internally and externally. You will contribute to the maintenance of the companies leading ethical trade position

  • You will be tying the bigger picture of the audit programme and its link to the organisation, working in collaboration with different teams internationally, such as buying data, suppliers, and factories.

You will benefit from having the following:

  • Proven track record in corporate responsibility, ethical trade or responsible sourcing. Understanding of the licensing landscape and regulations will be beneficial alongside this

  • SA8000 advanced experience and confidence with audit and remediation processes

  • A passion to get started and make difference, and the ability to think quickly with a solution-oriented mindset

  • Being comfortable with data handling, reporting and other IT tools

  • International exposure to large scale audit or ethical trade programmes

This role can be based in Dublin or Reading.
