With an incredible commitment to ethical trading and sustainable business, Acre are supporting a high-street retailer to add capacity to their growing ethical trade central support team based in Dublin.

Reporting to the Head of Central Support - Ethical Trade, you will have the opportunity to interface with key regional ethical trade teams and influence buying and sourcing departments. You also will play a key role in protecting communities in the supply chain and maintain the organisation's leadership position.

Your opportunity:

  • Management of the new factory approval process, including scheduling audits, managing and processing documentation, ensuring that factories are approved in a timely manner

  • Ensuring consistency of standards across the global field teams in audit methodology and rating

  • Providing support to buyers on ethical trading issues

  • Communicating audit results to buying teams, sourcing, suppliers

  • Reporting on performance of the audit programme to the business

Your background:

  • Experience in ethical trading

  • Understanding of factory audit and remediation processes

  • Ability to build excellent relationships with key stakeholders & across the business

  • Self-starting and adept to large fast-paced environments
