The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) is a collaborative, global, multi-stakeholder non-profit alliance for the fashion industry. It is made up of over 208+ leading apparel, footwear, and textile brands, retailers, suppliers, service providers, trade associations, non-profits, NGOs, and academic institutions working to reduce environmental impact and promote social justice throughout the global value chain.

SAC's vision is of a global consumer goods industry that gives more than it takes - to the planet and its people. Now in a phase of growth and tackling crucial topics, SAC is seeking a Senior Manager, to join and lead their Digital Communications strategy.

As the Digital Communications Senior Manager, you will be devising solutions collaboratively with the team, and then rolling up your sleeves and making it happen!
You will also be:

  • Creatively owning the website redesign project for 2023, tracking it to completion and success.

  • Maintaining brand tone of voice and visual identity across the SAC's Social Media channels, with the aim to engage and create brand awareness and performance. You will also be supporting the communications team in delivering compelling email content, including monthly newsletters, events, and promotions to the external members and internally too.

  • Establishing clear KPIs and monitoring the performance of content. By analysing the website metrics to understand site usage and successes, you will create solutions and ideas for future content to create maximum impact.

  • Proactively supporting the team's culture and growth whilst helping the Digital Communications Coordinator and working closely with several other members with one aligned vision and combined goals. You will be reporting directly to and working closely with the Senior Director of Communications.

To thrive in this team and organisation, you have confidence in your ability to deliver a compelling digital communications strategy and an eye for detail.
You will also benefit from already having the following:

  • A passion for communicating, convincing and making an impact. This role is in a purpose-driven team with commitments to sustainability, and you can contribute to this daily.

  • Consistent experience in brand management, content, and communications with relevant technology familiarity. For example, in GSuite, Canva, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office and relevant social media channels.

  • Organisational excellence. You enjoy a fast-paced environment, adapting to different situations, and managing your time efficiently.

If you are motivated by the opportunity to use your digital communications skills in a new context at the SAC and be a player in the sustainable apparel and footwear industry, apply today. If you have any questions, please contact ruth.smith@acre.com.
