Sage's sustainability team is growing.

This world-leading payment processing FintTech wants to build a diverse, dynamic and high performing team of sustainability experts who can support the design and execution of Sage's sustainability vision and strategy.

This role will report to the Sustainability Strategy & Execution Director and work collaboratively across business functions. The individual will operate at all levels of the organisation, from C-suite to the shop floor and will support the Reporting Director and EVP's engagement with key external stakeholders such as investors and Board and relevant committees. The role will also support the integration of the Sustainability strategy in the business operations, helping Sage become a leader and thought leader in this space.



Working closely with the Sustainability Strategy & Execution Director, a significant amount of time will be spent liaising with stakeholders across the business to shape Sage's vision and ambition on Sustainability. In addition, the role will support the design of a multi-year strategy and be responsible for driving execution, as well as work across all business functions and establishing best-in-class sustainability ESG policies such as enhancement and delivery of Sage's Modern Slavery Statement, Responsible and ethical use of data etc.

This person will act as a key subject matter expert on sustainability/ESG, supporting business units to update, monitor and implement the policies, processes and frameworks that will drive strategy execution. This person will drive the development of cross-functional action plans to ensure Sage delivers against the strategy and policy requirements aiming to improve its ESG credentials.

Finally, the role will be responsible for driving the integration of the sustainability strategy into business operations and will be responsible for designing and evolving Sage's governance around ESG, making sure that Board, relevant committees and management team have the right level of oversight on this agenda. Through this, the individual will support the active engagement of Sage's key shareholders on ESG and act as a subject matter expert on ESG policies and governance.
