Due to organic growth across Acre, we are seeking a Senior Research Consultant to join our Research Team. Based in London, we are a collegiate team of experienced researchers spanning the entire sustainability value chain, from board room to field. This role will have a material impact on the evolution of the business and the quality of Acre's service offering. Our team is part of what makes us exceptional; all its members have progressed in their roles and responsibilities since joining the business.

The Senior Researcher Consultant will work with the Head of Research & Project Delivery to support on search assignments and business intelligence projects. They will also support in the continued development and management of the Research Team.

You will be:

Running executive level searches:

  • You'll engage with clients about their recruitment needs, crafting proposals and pitching Acre's Search offering and value proposition.

  • You'll build relationships to become a trusted advisor, while identifying opportunities for the application of Acre's other services.

  • You will engage clients and lead on search strategy, candidate identification and acquisition for executive level positions, working closely with Acre's consultants and our clients.

  • You will deliver and lead on a range of market research and business intelligence projects; sometimes on behalf of our clients and sometimes to support Acre's growth plans.

Delivering competency assessment & development:

  • Acre will train you to analyse and deliver competency-based feedback using our proprietary competency assessment platform; Acre Frameworks

  • As such you will deliver competency-based feedback to help clients deliver effective interviews and make informed hiring decisions

Taking a leading role in team management:

  • You will help to recruit, train and develop new members of the Research Team

  • You will work closely with the Head of Research to manage the Research Team pipeline and workload

  • You will encourage best practice in the use of Acre's CRM system, search technique and other technology platforms that we utilise

You will have a proven experience in a research capacity within a recruitment / executive search consultancy. As such, you will be highly resourceful and adept with a range of research tools and techniques.

You will have:

  • Exceptional project management expertise

  • A high quality and values driven approach to work, favouring collaborative and innovative methods

  • Experience of mentoring or overseeing team members - driving performance and supporting with development

  • Exceptional communication skills, with an understanding of how to influence people and situations from both a written and verbal perspective.

  • A passion for people; understanding their motivations and facilitating opportunities to bring to life a match between good people and good jobs
