Acre has been engaged by a global real estate services business to identify a new Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their market leading sustainability team.

This role will be responsible for overseeing and delivering strategic sustainability implementation programmes across the EMEA region. The activities will be highly varied from board-level advice, portfolio environmental performance measurement, communications and reporting, risk assessments and practical asset advice. Business development with existing and new clients is a key part of the role, as expected at this senior level. This role is also offering the opportunity to help create and implement health and wellbeing strategies at asset, portfolio and masterplan levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Challenging clients through their insights and analysis to develop bold programmes that capture the value of sustainability

  • Taking clients through the strategy development and implementation journey, designing well-crafted action plans and bringing the strategy to life

  • Building a strong relationship with client's property and sustainability teams with accurate advice and deliverables

  • Project managing the delivery of numerous client projects or tasks, ensuring a professional relationship and the effective delivery of sustainability services on time and to budget

  • Developing new business in the strategic implementation and health & wellbeing service lines, growing the offering and client base

The successful candidate will have significant client and/or stakeholder management experience (either in-house or consultancy), including experience of working at a senior level to deliver complex solutions and managing different stakeholder expectations.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in developing and implementing ambitious sustainability strategies and programmes

  • Ability to oversee the use of excel-based tools for data analysis purposes

  • Proven track record of obtaining engagement from employees at all levels

  • Experience liaising with, engaging and presenting to senior business leaders

  • Good awareness of a broad range of corporate social and environmental sustainability programmes, including areas such as GRESB or other ESG benchmarks, and carbon reporting
