Acre is supporting a leading pan-European sustainability consultancy in the search for a highly-motivated Senior Sustainability and Real Estate Consultant to join their team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to help high profile blue chip companies and real estate investors meet their decarbonisation targets within a new office of an established consultancy. You will join our client's collegiate team of intelligent, passionate and dedicated professionals who are all experts in their fields.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning, completion and write-up of technical building level energy audits
Provide project management of energy improvement programmes, serving as point of contact for clients, tracking deliverables, and producing or delegating work to meet deadlines
Collaborate with team members and provide technical expertise on energy management
Managing BREEAM In Use Assessments and development of ISO 15001 management systems
The successful candidate will be energized by work closely with external clients, as well as liaising with project teams, overseas offices, and representatives from partner organisations.
Skills required:
Extensive building energy audit experience with understanding of HVAC systems for commercial buildings
Detailed understanding of current and upcoming energy legislation within Germany
Thorough knowledge of the energy market and drivers within Germany
BREEAM In Use or DGNB assessor qualification
Strong English and Germany written and verbal communication skills and technical aptitude
