Acre is pleased to support a global law firm in its search for a Social Impact Manager to join their growing and ambitious global team. In this newly created role, you will play a pivotal role in creating and driving high-impact programmes and partnerships.

As the Social Impact Manager, your key areas of responsibility include:

  • Working with the social impact and broader team to refine and implement the firm's community partnerships, social mobility, fundraising and skilled volunteering strategies.

  • Working closely with support areas and senior stakeholders to drive key projects and play a leading role in the implementation of the skilled volunteering programme.

  • Maintain close working relationships with the responsible business and pro bono teams globally, to understand the programmes and ensure alignment on themes and approaches to partnerships and impact.

  • Ensure best practice and engaging reporting approach that integrates social impact into the wider Responsible Business and sustainability strategy for internal and external stakeholders.

In order to succeed within this firm, you will:

  • Lead on preparing key external social impact assessments and benchmarks, including the annual B4SI.

  • Be an experienced community partnership and social impact leader, with experience developing and implementing impact-driven partnerships to a very high standard, including fundraising strategies, ideally with experience in a professional services environment.

  • You will have a blend of community programming/third sector and corporate experience, be confident in tackling complex social issues and understand the role business plays in contributing to solving them.
