The Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for co-ordinating the collection and analysis of sustainability data from a large number of operating companies, and producing reports which assess the company's performance against both internal and external stakeholder expectations. The role also provides an opportunity to build experience dealing with a range of stakeholders, including NGOs, ratings agencies, internal management and operating company executives.

Your opportunity:

  • Develop and maintain the company's knowledge management and data systems to provide actionable insights and opportunities for the group, its divisions and businesses

  • Coordinate the company's responses to various ESG rating agencies, NGOs and other external disclosure bodies

  • Support the integration of Sustainability / ESG reporting and disclosures into business decision making to drive improvement and value

  • Project manage the annual Sustainability reporting processes, liaising with the businesses to develop content, and consultants and designers to produce impactful, representative communication

  • Support the research, development and implementation of environmental and social impact measurement methodologies and KPIs- defining and measuring how the company is living its values to engage customers, suppliers, investors and employees

To be successful in this role, you will most likely have:

  • A deep knowledge of ESG and Sustainability related topics and reporting best practice

  • An analytical mindset, with the ability to draw insightful conclusion and use these to help shape the company's future Sustainability approach

  • Strong engagement skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders with competing priorities
