This opportunity sits at the centre of sustainable finance and offers excellent growth and specialisation opportunities. The role will entail supporting the broader research team on building up the understanding of material sustainability issues that are affecting target companies and emerging markets. The focus is on thoughtful and pragmatic long-term research that will help the firm understand where the key sustainability risks and opportunities lie as well as to drive meaningful engagement with portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
Support Head of Thematic and Sustainability Research in writing thought-provoking sustainability research
Work with investment teams to raise profile of key sustainability issues through the due diligence and portfolio management process
Engage with investee companies, regulators and stakeholders to raise awareness and improve management of key issues
Completion of impact and sustainability risk management assessment reports
Qualifications
University Degree - 2:1 or higher
Strong experience working within a sustainability research or practice
Skills: Good communication skills (fluent English a must; Spanish / Portuguese / Mandarin / French a bonus); competent mathematics;
Characteristics: Intellectual curiosity; proven interest in sustainability; independent self-starter; self-confident;
