Sustainability & Climate Services Marketer

Acre is working with a global multi-disciplinary consultancy who are seeking a sustainability and climate expert to help our client being positioned as market leaders for all net zero carbon services across the UK.

This role will be instrumental in helping our client achieve their aim at becoming more widely recognised as an organisation contributing significantly and meaningfully to climate action.

​

Requirements:

• Lead development, delivery, and regular assessment of the climate services marketing strategy and annual plan

• Deliver regular internal marketing updates about the achievements and priorities of the climate services team, working with key stakeholders and the UKIMEA internal communications team

• Report on the impact of marketing activity, including production of annual impact reports as part of the annual strategic marketing planning cycle

• Delivering annual programme's of marketing collateral to raise the awareness and credibility of our clients achievements to an external market

The Successful Candidate:

• Current knowledge of UK climate policy and regulation and the role this plays in shaping the market for climate services within the private and public sectors

• Knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how their adoption by the business community has the potential to contribute to systemic change

• Marketing experience, possibly within a professional services B2B context, and - ideally - supported by a relevant professional marketing qualification

• Experience of successful tactical delivery of marketing plans and/ or strategies, including the creation of thought leadership-focused content and events

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, including advanced understanding of English grammar and usage
