Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Sustainability Consulting manager in their Energy and Sustainability Services group. Schneider Electric is at the forefront of the development and delivery of strategic solutions to address climate action, sustainability consulting, data and resource management, and renewable energy procurement. Schneider Electric (SE) is looking for someone with a strong personality to help scale their Sustainability Business in the DACH zone.
Main responsibilities will include:
Driving new business for Schneider Sustainability business division and delivering against revenue targets in line with the overall growth plan
Scaling their Sustainability consultancy in the zone by acquiring new customers for consulting projects & helping business expansion for existing customers
Generate pull-through for SE Energy & Sustainability Services, including Energy Supply, Active Energy management solutions, data management, cleantech and in the long run for SE core businesses (Power monitoring, EV, Building Automation, Building Management, Smart manufacturing…)
Required Competencies:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Science or Business
A strategic individual with exceptional commercial acumen and specialist knowledge of sustainability initiatives within a corporate context.
Track record of working with and influencing senior stakeholders in client organisations
Required experiences (not all required):
Consulting on corporate sustainability issues in a commercial environment,
Strong knowledge of regulations, reporting and industry drivers
Ideally subject matter expertise in Sustainability Finance and ESG or Thermal renewables
Expertise in energy markets and cleantech solutions
Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to bridge customer needs to SE offers and solutions
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate all facets of sustainability
Good influencing & communication skills, to ensure coordination & alignment of multiple internal stakeholders
Results-driven & autonomous, with the ability to navigate complex organizations
Languages: Fluent in German and a second European language is desirable
